I have heard rumors they layed off most of the staff. That they were sold. They were closing. etc, etc.

Any truth to any of these rumors?

One of the other forums is confirming.

Industry Rrumors circulating on Skybook sportsbook found confirmation in the wee hours of Monday night. Skybook's main shareholder said and I quote "I will no longer be working with Skybook effective Jan 31st" Skybook's main shareholder.

Skybook.com drastically downsized its personnel over the last weekend. "Heads up: Skybook was sold, I do not know the buyer, but only 5 employees left in the building." a former manager confirmed.

I'm not wanting to spread gossip, just figured this forum is pretty tight with Skybook. Hopefully someone from there can clear things up

I believe the majority shareholder drove away in it.

If they do close, I'd like to think they will pay those owed. They've been around too long to go out badly.

I hope it works out well for all involved.

The contests they sponsored were unmatched by any book, anywhere. Sad news.

For The Record

Skybook is NOT closing, they have downsized their staff some, especially lower level employees mainly because of the end of football season. The fact that deposits are slow everywhere is also a factor. Mike is still running CSD, Keith is still the GM. and Skybook will still be offering some great contests here at The Rx... Should someone win The Hummer this Sunday they will receive it.

Believe all the rumors at other sites if you want, but there is aboslutely no way that Skybook is closing in the forseable future and they will continue to be one of the principal advertisers here at The Rx.. I don't understand why other websites feel the need to start rumors like this and quite frankly find it pathetic and very sad. Anyone who has an account there please call them tomorrow and ask for either Mike or Keith and feel free to ask them "What's going on at Skybook".

Thank you, wilheim.

TOW has been wrong before, for sure ! I'd think most every book is laying off people.

I don't have money at Sky presently since NT doesn't work anymore, but I'd be shocked if they pull a BOS.

Why does anybody even read tow?

:puppy:

Besides Roberto and his lackey Rpm :bunnies: who else posts their? That place is a joke. I guess leading unsuspecting gamblers to their financial demise over and over again comes with a price. To quote judge Judy to Roberto: "I wouldn't believe you if your tongue came notarized"
The guy lost all his credibility over the last year.

this is my only hangout.......so what/who is TOW?

Another forum, Known basically for promoting more stiff books in their short time "online" then any other. Anyone remember the famed "rookie project", lol? I wonder how much money they made off poor saps on that one?Owner thinks he is god of everything offshore.
Exactly the opposite of Therx.com on every front.

I requested a wire from those guys last week, and it hit today. I am confident that they aren't going anywhere.

I stopped reading TOW after no juice and bet 4 aces went down. Thankfully I had no funds there so was not one of the unlucky ones. The place lost all credibilty after those 2 disasters
